Lopsided AB maps.
Alright so today was the alliance battle zquest. Heres the issue, the whole day, AB were in ancestral lands. Those of you who don't know, ancestral lands is a terribly lopsided map favoring the kurzicks witha 200% handicap... aka, ideally two even teams the kurzicks would thwomp the living crap outta the luxons. This is all fine and dandy but I don't understand how it has stayed in this map all day.
Ok, my suggestion, simple enough, lock AB in the neutral map during its day as the zquest. Because as is, the kurzicks are farming the crap outta the zquest and the luxons are left with hardly a chance.

Point 1 - map started as Ancestral Lands, which means Luxons were winning relatively often.
Point 2 - map is still Ancestral Lands, which means Luxons are still winning relatively often.
Therefore:

Wrong, you're just not getting placed on the right teams.
For the record I don't necessarily oppose the idea, I just don't see why it's necessary.

I think a map with a mirror-like reflected image on both sides would be awesome. With 3 shrines on each side and 1 in the middle.

Something Neutral like that would be very cool, although people would complain of it being dull.
Tbh what would be more cool is a map without cap points, and you just have an epic battle. Reduce the points needed a little for it and voila you have some epic wars going on.

twould really make my day if anet snuck us in 2 or 3 new ab maps into the rotation. and just for the record ancestral lands isnt a garaunteed win for kurz, with the right allies it can be a humiliating defeat. i actually clash againsts lux or kux on their "garaunteed" win maps because its usually a short entry wait, usually loaded with players expecting a easy win thus have not so savvy allies flocking for that reason, and it just plain feels good takin somebodys lunch on their home map lol.

For as hard as they say it is to make maps, we're not talking about creating maps up to the standards of some ultra competitive league. Make a map layout, reverse the layout for the other side and put in different textures, voila, balanced maps.
